Follow-up to frustration

Someone asked me what we can do about the frustration with the media.  I believe there are three things we can do:

1) Get educated!  When friends, family or acquaintances start spewing something that you know is factually incorrect, let them know how incorrect they are.  (There are a ton of well researched books and articles on the lies and scandals the media is helping to cover up.) The truth is that the media has been a willing accomplice of this regime to all of them.

2) Get out there and vote for really honest politicians. (I know, I know.  What is that?)  By the way, this goes back to number 1.  Get educated on the people running for office.  I don’t mean just the national elections but state and local too.  The scumbags that are in Washington now came from someplace.  They got to where they are because people like us just haven’t paid attention to the local elections.  You know that right now your city councils and state legislatures are rats’ nests of liberal idiots.  There is another Barry waiting in the wings. Finally;

3) Write letters to the editors, and pr departments and let them know you won’t purchase their papers, buy their magazines or frequent any of their advertisers until they have a more (please pardon me, FOX) fair and balanced presentation.  I know that for outlets like the New York Times and the entire NBC cabal, that isn’t going to happen until they go bankrupt and are bought out by responsible organizations.

So I guess there really is just one thing to do; listen to what they say and believe the opposite!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot..
A couple made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform
the other about life after death.
Their biggest fear was that there was no after-life at all.
After a long life together, the husband was the first to die.
True to his word, he made the first contact:
“Judy……….Judy”
“Is that you, George?”
“Yes, I’ve come back like we agreed.”
“That’s wonderful! What’s it like?”
“Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I have breakfast and then it’s off to the golf course. I have sex again, bathe in the warm sun and then have sex a couple of more
times.
Then I have lunch (you’d be proud - lots of greens). Another romp around
the golf course, then pretty much have sex the rest of the afternoon.
After supper, it’s back to golf course again. Then it’s more sex until late at night. I catch some much-needed sleep and then the next day it starts all over again”
“Oh, George…are you in Heaven?”
“No………..I’m a rabbit in Kansas .”

Sir, First, I feel you should take some of your valuable time to thank a few liberals from our past that we even have a United States of America. You do remember how we came to be right? Second, you seem to lump ALL liberals into a big pile and discount any of them as even potentially honest. So instead of doing what you suggest we do about researching the candidates, you simply make a blanket statement. Where is the “educated” response in your tirade that you want us to give? I submit that ALL the current cronies in office now from the Governors to the Senators to Congress be given “term limits” by We The People in November. I stand for a movement of sorts called V.E.T.O. it stands for Vote Everyone of Them Out. This movement is running rampant throught the minds of the citizenry right now under several other descriptives. The Tea Party for instance, has it partially right. But in my opinion they just don’t go far enough by not asking for ALL of the F.O.A.M. (Friends Of Allmighty Money) members to lose their posts. Term limits you say? Why they have no term limits! Yes but we have the power to impose term limits on them by our votes. I mean, why keep on beating the same dead horse and since they won’t vote to give limits to themselves, let’s just do it for them. Hugs and kisses from a free thinking, non-partisan, non-sheeple, freedom loving, born in the USA, AMERICAN! Alan

Hi Alan, Thank you very much for your comments. First let me say that whatever the ‘Liberals’ of old did they could never compare with what we have today. (Oh and when I speak of liberals I really do mean the politicians.) I just believe that citizens that are liberals are misinformed. (Mostly by the media that I complain about.) On to the politicians themselves. I have said in previous rants that ALL politicians lie. This is simply a fact of life. Show mw a politician that hasn’t lied and I’ll show you one that has never held office! I disagree with you that we should fire all of them. I believe there are a few that are truly fighting FOR the people, not thier money. I agree with you that we have term limits and that we should use the limits often! The “educated” in my rant is in the politician’s record, on the internet and word of mouth. For example, if the people that voted for Obama had paid attention to what he said, his voting record in Illinois, and the Senate, his associations, what the “right-wing” talk shows and even the occasional (RARE) slip of the main-stream media told of this guy he wouldn’t have been elected to the Presidency. Now we can have a whole other discussion on McCain. BTW, I blame that same media for McCain being the Republican candidate. But that’s another rant for another time. Joe
