So the rich aren’t paying their fair share?

So the rich aren’t paying their fair share? Here are two facts for you: 1) They pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes AND, 2) they pay a larger percentage of the total taxes paid. I could just end the rant there but then again it wouldn’t be as much fun.

Hillary, and every other liberal and some libertarians, insist that the top 1 percent pay “Their Fair Share” of the taxes. Well, if they did that they would pay less taxes rather than more. The same holds true for the top five percent. The 10 percenters actually pay their fair share. All the rest pay less than their fair share. These aren’t some wild and crazy right-wing-made up numbers. They come from the Internal Revenue Service for the year 2011. The numbers get worse as time goes by. The Feds have reduced loop holes and raised the percentage the higher brackets pay. Check this chart out.

Print this chart and keep it in your pocket. The next time some liberal puke tries to tell you that the rich don’t pay their fair share show them the chart and give them the link to www.joes-rant.com so they can learn something. I will never understand the logic of, “I worked hard for that degree I obtained in Albino Asian lesbian studies. I don’t know why nobody will hire me. So why don’t you pay my way in life?” attitude

I understand there are people that just don’t have the skills or aptitude to do high paying jobs and that places them on a lower rung of the economic ladder. There are programs that help them learn a trade so they can better themselves.

In the United States poverty is very weird. These numbers are from the Census Bureau for 2011.

Here are the percentages of households below the poverty level that the Census Bureau estimates had the following appliances:

Clothes washer: 68.7%
Clothes dryer: 65.3%
Dish washer: 44.9%
Refrigerator: 97.8%
Food freezer: 26.2%
Stove: 96.6%
Microwave: 93.2%
Air conditioner: 83.4%
Television: 96.1%
Video recorder/DVD: 83.2%
Computer: 58.2%
Telephone (landline): 54.9%
Cell phone: 80.9%

I guess this brings me to the minimum wage. It wasn’t the greatest idea to begin with. The entire premise was so that employers could hire low and no skilled workers so they could learn the job. Once they proved themselves they would earn more. Then the retail industry, especially fast-food decided they could hire kids out of high school for minimum wage with the understanding they would go on to bigger and better things. Ooops! That didn’t happen for many of them. I agree, you can’t feed a family of four on a minimum wage job. The unfortunate thing is that our public education system would rather teach little Johnny that Mary had two mothers and Social Justice than how to add two plus two. This has led a few of generations of IDIOTS who find it easier and more convenient to live in mom’s basement at age 35.

Now the push for a $15.00 minimum wage is going to have one of the following results: 1) The employer will ‘let go’ of some employees to make up for the extra cost. — I need to interrupt myself. Here are a couple of interesting facts. First: Small business owners are not rich! Second: Estimates range as high as 80% of the country’s non-farm employees are employed by small businesses. — 2) The employer can raise his prices. This has been shown to lose customers which leads to layoffs. 3) He can pay the higher minimum wage and keep the employees which will lead to him going bankrupt. 4) find a cheaper way to put his product out like the fast food chain that installed kiosks to take orders and then did option 1. So rather than create an atmosphere where the economy can expand and where people can grow the libtards would rather tax everyone into being serfs to the government. . It didn’t work in the dark ages and it wont work now.

A man tried to sell his neighbor a new dog. “This is a talking dog,” he said. “And you can have him for five dollars. ” The neighbor said, “Who do you think you’re kidding with this talking dog stuff? There ain’t no such animal. “Suddenly the dog looked up with tears in his eyes. “Please buy me, Sir,” he pleaded. “This man is cruel. He never buys me a meal, never bathes me,never takes me for a walk. And I used to be the richest trick dog in America. I performed before kings. I was in the army and was decorated ten times. “Hey! ” said the neighbor. “He can talk. Why do you want to sell him for just five dollars? ” “Because,” said the seller, “I’m getting tired of all his lies. “
