Education today…

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Ooops, some people want to take “under God” out. Screw them. (I have to admit that I cheated a little. After I wrote it all down, I looked it up for the punctuation.) Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Ooops, Sorry Pluto was deemed unworthy to be a planet. How about the order of succession for the presidency? Vice President, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tem of the Senate. After that, it goes through the Cabinet. I used to be able to recite the states and capitols but I’m getting rusty and it would take too much time and space.  Besides, they added a couple since I learned them!  My point is that these are things that we were taught as the norm in grade school and junior high. Ooops, middle school. I would wager that no more than 20% of high school graduates know what I just recited. Probably the same for college seniors.

The state of the educational system today almost insures that kids don’t know any of that stuff. Most of the Socialist, unionized teachers are busy teaching political correctness, Johnny has two mommies, Sarah has two daddies how great Hugo Chavez and Bill Clinton were and there is nothing wrong with getting a BJ from some intern if you are a married man. There is no US history. I read somewhere that a US history school book dedicated one paragraph to Abraham Lincoln. I could do an hour on him with my limited knowledge!  Take a look at this for liberal bias in text books.

The teachers unions have produced inept, lazy and biased teachers that can’t teach subjects without including their own opinions as fact. Look up accusations against teachers on the internet and you will find pages of everything from cheating on kids tests in order to increase the school’s and their own ratings to having sex with students. Many of these crimes are covered up by the principals and school boards. In some cases guilty teachers are transferred to hide them. Take a look at this.

Please don’t think that I’m painting all teachers with the same brush. There are many fine teachers who try to teach the real history of the country and math without, “2 + 2 = 5. That’s OK Jimmy, whatever you say.” As long as Jimmy doesn’t get his feelings hurt. They are out there but they fight an uphill battle. Parents are insisting that their little darlings are the brightest and deserve the prize. Someone is going to be in first place in life and there are going to be losers. Too many of today’s kids from birth through college are not at all prepared for it.

The results of this kind of teaching is what gave us Bill Clinton and BO. If the young people that were a major force behind BO’s election were educated and informed the guy never would have won his party’s nomination let alone the Presidency. They would have realized his philosophy is nothing more than Socialism and that he, himself, is nothing more than a two-bit dictator-wanna-be.

My advice: 1) abolish teachers’ unions, no not just teachers’ unions, but all public employee unions, 2) establish standards for teachers, 3) test and monitor teachers for adherence to the standards. 4) Fire, nothing less, the teachers that don’t live up to the standards.

George and his wife, who happens to be blond, are sitting by the fire, listening to the radio. The announcer comes on and says, “Everyone in Plainview please park your cars to the odd numbered side of the street so the plows can come through.” Crystal, the wife, bundles up, runs out and moves the car.

The next night as the snow continues the announcer comes on to ask that the residences park on the even side for the snow plows. Crystal, again, bundles up and moves the car.

Two nights later it is snowing again. The announcer comes on and says, “Please move your cars to the…” Right at that moment the power goes out. Crystal asks George, “Which side of the street should I park the car on?”

George replies, “Honey, why don’t you leave it in the garage tonight?”

We have an establishment problem

We don’t have a democRAT problem, we have an establishment problem. This is borne out by what the establishment RepublicRATs did during the primaries. They actually worked hand in hand with democRATs to defeat TEA party and other conservative challenges to the incumbents. The Donkeys ran ads against the challengers in some states. In states where they have open primaries democRATs were encouraged to go vote in the Republican primary for the incumbent, or should I say the democRAT lite incumbent. Now legally, those democRATs that voted in Republican primaries are ‘supposed’ to vote for the Republican in the general election. Yeah, right!

A recent study asked what the three branches of the government are and only 42% could name them. Some of the late show hosts have man on the street interviews where they ask tough questions like, ‘Who is the Vice President?’ It is disgusting how many people don’t know. The problem with ignorant people is they can’t make informed decisions on subjects that effect their life. My point is that politicians take their cue from the people they know and see. Politicians, in general, are dishonest. My old line is, “Show me a politician that never lied and I’ll show you a politician that never held office.” Many, Many, MANY years ago going to Congress was a service a person performed then went back to their real life. Now it is a career that people like Harry ‘Everything is for sale’ Reid, Mitch ‘Reid’s Bitch’ McConnell, Nancy ‘stretch’ Pelosi and John ‘no balls’ Boehner use to become fabulously wealthy.

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
John Adams

I put that quote in here because it is proving itself true. For many years now we have been electing politicians that have less and less interest in the people they represent. Mary Landrieu is only one of many that represent districts far away from the Capitol yet live full-time in Washington, D.C. She represents Louisiana but only visits during campaign time. Same with Jason Chaffetz. There are several more that spend 11.5 months of the year in D.C. at their homes and the other half month in hotels in their home state while they campaign.

We are in the process of losing the country as founded. Our Muslim-in-Chief, his regime and the courts the democRATs have stuffed with radical judges are making is doing everything he can to invalidate the constitution. He signs executive orders that go against the constitution. The (in)justice department enforces laws BO wants them to and doesn’t enforce those he deems irrelevant. When he had super-majorities in the Senate and House he pushed Obamacare a law that has never had the support of the people of the country. The RepublicRATs aren’t doing anything to reign in this corruptocracy (My word meaning – If you got the money you have my vote.) The majority of the population is totally ignorant of what the people in Washington are doing to the population.

Sure, we have to nominate a real conservative like Mike Lee or Ted Cruz for president. What we also have to do is dislodge the corrupt establishment RepublicRATs from their positions of power. Mark Levin talks about a web site called that I recommend. You can see how the pols around the country are rated as far as their conservatism is concerned. We can’t end up with another Romney or McCain and we certainly don’t need Jeb Bush who is so beholding to the Chamber of Commerce that he endorses amnesty for illegal aliens. So this election cycle do some homework and see which of the politicians will do the most to further a constitutional government and vote for conservative heroes!

Harry and his blonde wife were sitting by the fireplace listening to the radio when the announcer said, “Residents of Plainfield please move your cars to the even numbered side of the street so the snow plows can clear the roads.” Crystal ran right out and moved the car.

The next day it snowed again and this time the announcer said, “Residents of Plainfield please move your cars to the odd numbered side of the street so the snow plows can clear the roads.” And again Mary put her coat on and ran out and moved the car.

Two nights later there was another heavy snow and the announcer said, “Will the residents of Plainfield please move their cars to th…” At that moment the power went out. Mary exclaimed,, “Harry, which side of the street should I park the car?”

Harry comforted Mary and said, “There, there. Why don’t you just leave it in the garage tonight?”
