Where did it all start?

It has long been known that politicians are full of hubris, greed and narcissism. They put tort lawyers to shame. Oh wait, many of them graduated from the field of ambulance chasing. I guess it’s a good training ground for politics. Combine a media that routinely licks the boots of politicians that they share a world view with and anything can happen. The tragedy of Benghazi is one case in point. Had this been a different time (before the media lost all morals) or had the president been of any other party the attack on the mission at Benghazi and the death of these four Americans would have been heralded as the travesty that it is. (We probably would have saved some or all of them as well.) The cries for impeachment would have been heard daily and nightly from every liberal mouth that could get near a microphone. They would have invented a page zero for the newspapers because page one wouldn’t have enough impact.

Couple this with the death of two marines at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan last month during an attack that destroyed six Harrier aircraft that went unreported and the increased death toll that never sees the light of day since BO has taken office you have to believe that there has to be a change next month. While Mitt Romney was not my first (or second (or third)) choice for the Republican nomination he is doing a good job as a candidate and with Ryan as his VP there is a chance that he will be a good president. One thing that will be a welcome change is that he doesn’t have the desire to change the country into a cesspool of Socialism like his predecessor. Another quality I like is that he is rich, I mean really rich. Many politicians come into office poor leave worth millions. (While I am a partisan conservative it has nothing to do with my observation that many of the many are Demoncrats.) Romney has actually sacrificed to serve the public, not collecting a salary when he fixed the 2002 Olympics or the governorship of Massachusetts.

I have spent many rants screaming about the corruption of the politicians and the blind slavishness the media has for BO (He really isn’t worth the effort it takes to spell his whole name.) and other Demoncrats and how bad the combination BO and a malignant, mendacious media (MMM) is for America.) Fortunately we can vote out the politicians and get new ones. (This begs the question, “Why the hell don’t we?”) Unfortunately we can’t vote out the media. When Romney takes over the presidency they will be nipping at his heels. Every single death in combat will be trumpeted by Tingle Mathews. (Such a shame he is from Philadelphia) If unemployment isn’t under 1% the week he takes over, the New York Times editorial will proclaim the Romney presidency a total failure.

The sixties was a lot of fun for me! Having said that, I have to admit that it was a period of failure for the United States. We can argue the validity of the war in Viet Nam. One fact is clear - we lost. We lost the war because of public opinion here in the United States. The sixties produced Bill Ayres, Bernadette Dorn, Noam Chomsky, Abby Hoffman and thousands of other radical left-wing zealots. They discovered that their actions could actually change the course of events. They also realized they could influence others by going into education where they could influence, as Rush Limbaugh calls them, young minds full of mush. Another field they found held power which if handled correctly, could influence people in their daily lives. News! Not just entertainment or the arts, although it turns out also has their share of liberal nut-bags. News: Newspapers, magazines, Television and radio news. With the change of a phrase here or leaving out a fact there they can mislead you. Here is a great example. Do you remember the Dan Rather scandal where he claimed G.W. Bush played hooky on his National Guard duty? It turned out that his producer, Mary Mapes, procured forged documents to back up the claim. She and others were fired, Dan Rather finally quit and CBS’s credibility was shot in the ass. I saw an article in a left-wing publication that talked about the episode. They called the 60 Minutes II segment a “flawed” story with no mention of the forged documents or the subsequent firings.

I guess I rambled a little in this rant but one thing was connected to another and sometimes you just have to follow the thread.

For several years, a man was having an affair with an Italian woman.

One night, she confided in him that she was pregnant. Not wanting to ruin his reputation
or his marriage, he said he would pay her a large sum of money if she would go to Italy
to secretly have the child.
If she stayed in Italy to raise the child, he would also provide child support until the child turned 18.

She agreed, but asked how he would know when the baby was born.

To keep it discreet, he told her to simply mail him a post card, and write ‘Spaghetti
on the back.
He would then arrange for the child support to begin.

One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife.
‘Honey, she said, ‘you received a very strange post card today.’
‘Oh, just give it to me and I’ll explain it later,’ he said. The wife obeyed and watched as her husband read the card, turned white, and fainted.

On the card was written:
Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti.
Three with meatballs, two without.

Send extra sauce.

I’ve been so lazy!

I have been lazier than the guy who designed the Japanese flag. So many things have been happening and I’ve just been a spectator not even an attentive one at that. There are times when things just slow you down. I guess this was one of those times for me. Seriously I had ideas that I could have written about, inspired by the events of the day and blasted all over the media, both MMM (Malignant, Mendacious Media) and FNM (Fox News Media). I just didn’t have the giddy-up. Well all that has changed. C’mon, combine Fast and Furious hearings, the first two debates, some of the dumbest things a politician can say (Joe Biden), the debacle in Libya and cover-up how could you not comment.

First, Fast and Furious. Holder is only off the hook because of the other noise going on in the BO regime. Darrell Issa has once again been stone-walled. This guy must feel like he is buried alive. The committee has asked for more documents. Better they just put Holder in jail until they get it all cleared up.

My take on the first Presidential debate is that BO has absolutely nothing to debate with, neither the tools nor facts, so he couldn’t do much more than give Romney dirty looks and stare at the floor. What few points BO made were Romney’s. He looked like the little community agitator he is.

The Ryan-Biden debate was another whole story! Biden, faced with the same dilemma as BO, that is having nothing substantial to run on, resorted to the three B’s: Bluster, Boorish Behavior and Bloviating. They all combined to make the thirty-some year leach on the government teat look more an ass than I thought possible even for him. Many people got to see the mean, nasty, small, bigoted, buffoon that is Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. (No, really his middle name is Robinette) Don’t forget this is the guy that excoriated Justice Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork at their confirmation hearings. (As he did every other Republican nominee put forward while he was on the Judiciary Committee.) Too many people think he is harmless, ‘one of the people’ Joe. The fact is this bum never held a real job in his life. Right from college to government and he has been there ever since. Ryan was more Presidential that BO and Biden combined.

The entire situation in Libya is disgusting and the behavior of the regime has been reprehensible. Let’s start with the fact that those in Libya asked for more protection. It was declined and on top of that all they had for security was a couple of local bodyguards who by the way betrayed them and told the attackers where to find the ambassador. The people at the consulate had NO military protection. Next, even though it was less than 24 hours later when it was made public that it was a coordinated military-style attack BO and his minions stuck the story that an obscure YouTube video caused this ‘spontaneous’ attack and the ‘spontaneous’ riot in Cairo. Not possible that this was the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The regime harped on this video trailer enough to draw the world’s attention to a piece of crap that until then had about nineteen views. Now the woman who was in the trailer and her family have been getting death threats and the regime has jailed the creator. WTF???

Protection wasn’t given for political reasons. BO wanted it to look as though all was calm in the Mid East. Our girly man president thought that if we lie down on our back and whine that the bad guys wouldn’t attack. Again, WTF?? Once plan one fell apart they went to plan B. Blame! Keep blaming the video, blame Romney for talking about it too quickly. (even though he was certainly more presidential than BO) BO couldn’t wait to take off for Vegas afterward. Ambassador Rice was hung out to dry. She looked a total fool trying to blame the video even after almost everyone knew this was a planned attack.

Now Hillary is hiding out in Peru. If the buck stops at her desk, then her desk should be moved to private life. BO is more worried about Big Bird than the families of the four Americans that died in Benghazi. This is a much bigger cover-up than Watergate was. Hmmm, let’s see, How many people died as a result of Watergate?
